Meshkov Brest: plans for the summer

MESHKOV BREST

Last week Meshkov Brest went on vacation. This summer, the club will change the coaching staff. Raul Alonso decided to return to Germany for family reasons. His assistant Sebastia Salvat will also continue to work in Germany. Dani Gordo and Nuno Farrelo will become the team´s new coaches.

Four players left the club: Alexander Shkurinskiy (Nantes), Marko Panic (Montpellier), Sandro Obranovic (Zagreb) and Simon Razgor (Maribor). There will be two newcomers - Stanislav Kasparek (Pick Szeged) and Baptiste Bonnefond (Aix). Also Dzmitriy Datchuk will return from the lease.

All handball players received an individual plan on vacation. The team will meet in Brest on July 12. Prior to that, the UEFA Champions League group stage draw will take place on July 2.

The summer plans of the club include the Belgazprombank Cup on August 13-15, which was canceled last year due to the epidemic situation. There is a preliminary agreement on participation in the tournament Chekhovskie medvedi (Russia), Motor (Ukraine) and Wisla (Poland).

After the Belgazprombank Cup, Meshkov Brest will play the quarterfinal matches of the SEHA-Gazprom League with Europharm, first away and then at home. The Final Four is scheduled for September 4-5 in Croatian Zadar.
