The participants and the format of the championship of Belarus became known

A meeting of the executive committee of the Belarusian Handball Federation was held in Minsk today, at which the composition of the participants in the men´s national championship was approved. The tournament will play 15 teams, divided into two divisions.

DIVISION 1

Meshkov Brest, SKA-Minsk, Masheka, BSUFK-SKA, Kronon, Gomel, Vityaz, RSUOR-2002.

The RSUOR-2002 team will play out of competition, but the results of its matches will be taken into account in determining the final places. At the same time, RSUOR handball players can be involved in championship matches both for the national team and for the clubs to which they belong.

Teams will play each other four times. The planned starting dates are August 29-30.

DIVISION 2

COR-BGK, Masheka-2, RCOR, RSUOR-2004, Kronon-2, SKA-Suvorovets, Gomel-2.
